Project 47 Ship

Haven't really had much time for drawing for quite a while now, but I've played with Sketchup some the past few weeks and came up with something new.  It's not connected with my Stargate or Star Trek projects.  For now I'll just call it "Project 47".

This is a craft designed for atmospheric and outer space operations, so I'm calling it an "aerospace ship".  At the moment it is a little over 256 m long, about 283 m wide, and 49.5 meters tall.  I've worked out a deck layout that can be seen in the middle image.  It has 14 decks, each 3m tall, with a 500 mm gap between decks.  It's equipped with four rocket engines which are primarily for escaping a planet's gravity.  The primary flight engines have yet to be added to the model but those six wings will house said flight engines and are made in such a way that they can move up and down, which will be an important part of how the ship flies.  Also future updates will make the top and bottom ends less symmetrical.  I plan on having some sort of under slung bridge.

It's pretty bare bones at the moment, but I feel its enough to show off and get some opinions.  I'm trying to decide how I want the back end to look, originally I pictured it in my head with the four rocket engines connecting directly to the hull, similar to the Steamrunner's nacelles.  However I wound up drawing it with Trek style pylons on the rocket engines.  So "Option A" is an attempt to go with my original idea while "Option B" sticks with the Trek style pylons.  Its already bigger than I originally intended but I'm thinking of making it a little longer so the back end doesn't look so stocky.  I'm also thinking about making it a little wider where the left and right halves meet so that top deck isn't so small.

And on the bright side, I could probably tweek this thing and make some Trek ships out of it if I feel like it.
